Privacy notice
Waresley Park Estate — customers, guests and visitors. Last updated 6 July 2026.
Who we are
Waresley Park Estate is the data controller for the personal information you give us when you book, buy or enquire with the estate — including padel court and lesson bookings, event tickets, shop purchases and stays. You can contact us about your data at the estate office or via the contact details on waresleyparkestate.co.uk.
What we collect and why
- Booking & purchase details — your name, email address, phone number and what you booked or bought. We use these to fulfil and manage your booking or order (contract).
- Payment — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep the amount, status and a payment reference.
- Correspondence — messages you send us, so we can respond and keep a record of the conversation (legitimate interest).
- Marketing — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of service providers to run our systems: Stripe (payments), Postmark (transactional email) and DigitalOcean (hosting, UK/EU regions). They process data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Booking and customer records are kept while you have an active relationship with the estate and for up to two years afterwards, then deleted or anonymised. Financial records are kept for six years as UK tax law requires. Raw data received from booking systems is purged within twelve months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it (where no legal duty requires us to keep it). Contact the estate office and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
